Are you hard of reading or do you not understand the priciple of head shots only?These guys want to improve their stats by standing in the middle of the map taking turns to shoot each other at point blank range in the head. That wat they win challenges and artificially boost their ranking and scores. If thats the sort of gamplay you want then so be it.
As an aside I never use the sniper rifles but if I came across someone that did I would accept it as part of the challenge of killing that particular player.

On a serious note, as I understand it in order to progress and unlock features and addons you need to gain a certain amount of headshots, so is it really that unreasonable to assume there will always be some bugger going for headshots only?
There will be oh about 2 people who are prepared to do that - the others play a game called head shots only where the cheat to get the challenges. Olf said:

Besides, I didnt call you a w@nker, merely commented on munters post with the widely accepted name for a person who sits in one place on a multiplayer FPS.

Playing the game means different things to different people... I quite like finding a nice spot to waste people from. I'd rather get a handful of cracking kills and not BE killed, than run around like a gimp killing 47 people but dying 46 times 
I do enjoy the killfests like Wetwork and Vacant etc. (and the other one with a large stone complex) But there's nothing like finding a comfy spot on 'Bog' and taking out every member of the enemy
