Yep I think that is it, and all the handling upgrades does include the race weight reduction. So basically the first things you have to do to the car is ALL the top handling upgrades and race tyres. Did we also say rear Forza spoiler as a minimum too?

It would be good if people could post maybe a side on pic of their car in the garage to compare and recognise all the cars as people should be deciding which car they are going to use soon.

I've got all race upgrades, wide tyres, race tyres, forza front and rear wing, and mugen sideskirts (im using the Integra Type R)

Sorry i missed the race, it sounded good. I'll get back to the PHTCC Championship (as im calling it) and finish designing the livery and post it up. You can't miss me though, i'm the one shamelessly advertising my Fantasy F1 Blog!

Chaps, I'd really like to be part of this - can you count me in driving

If the Clio 197 is not on the list I'll buy another car later on tonight and get it up tp PI 700.

Also, wht is the view on race length? Two shorter taces allow a result to be recovered if race 1 goes pear-shaped. But a longer race with full damage on and requiring a pit stop could be fun.

What time is anyone racing? I'll be about after 9pm so feel free to send me an invite if you are already up and running smile

Cheers,
Matt

Here is my take on the rules.

B class
All handling mods including weight
slick tyres
cant change the power layout so no going from ff to fr or 4wd
maximum of around 300hp
3 races per track 15 min 15min 30 min(perhaps with pit stop).
Positions random for first race then finishing order of 1st for 2nd and reversed for 3rd
Limited damage for first 2 races then simulated for 3rd

That should give some close but varied racing.

Will be on tonight for a few races, fired up after watching the British GTs at Knockhill.

I did this a while ago with some others, and generally found that a PI of <750 was the best/most accurate to the BTCC, in terms of power etc. with the full handling on, just a thought. Also could we have the Clio 197 included, if not count me in anyway.

Cheers, Paul.

Edit: oops forgot to add the GT, which is 'SimonAbson123'.

that sounds good wtt I think we should stick with the first list for a large car type + the clio 197. but the saab bhp is over 300hp but is heavy so its good on some tracks bad on others. alan

It seems like we are getting quite a bit of interest in this. Maybe 2 separate leagues of 8 will be in order.

even if there is quite a bit of interest, not everybody will be available at the same time for the races.

I think I have a black and white IS200 thats @ 750 that could have some bits removed....

Not sure I've got time for regular races, but a wild card entry might be fun...

So thats the rules sorted I think, how about times next?

What about a fixed night maybe once a week/fortnight/whenever everyone is available.

I can do any evenings at all other than Sundays.

So are we thinking about having a support season as discussed before using 197's or are they to be added to the Eligable Cars rooster?
