Now, how quick & easy is it to get broadband sorted. Can I phone up once the BT man has gone, pay for it then get on-line?

I need to know for GTA IV obviously, don't want to miss out as I've not sorted broadband in advance.

Everytime I've had broadband sorted it takes a week or two for them to connect the line and get it all up and running.

More constructively - call BT NOW and get the ball rolling - the same engineer could connect you up on Friday as they need to physically do something to turn your BB on which is what the wait is normally for.

While were all winding up MK4 here, I'd like to do the opposite. When I moved in I activated the line for broadband, it was up and running in 2 days. So I'd stress that you need your line for business/sales and see if they can do anything for you, that's what I done

I had my broadband up in a week, and that was with Be*. I've heard some horror stories with Sky though.

I'm waiting to the boss to fkoff then will phone and employ my silver tounge to get it sorted. I've got the shakes & everything from lack of on-line-edness. I've even purchased a skateboard game for the 360 I'm losing it.
