Old Star Trek game

I'm trying to find an old Star Trek game. I had it on my computer in the late 90s but I think the game must have been from the late 80s/early 90s. It was a 2D strategy type game that featured the Enterprise (NCC-1701) battling against Klingon ships (might have been Romulans as well). I vaguely remember that you had a limited number of resources (phasers and photon torpedoes) and that you could control the warp speed at which you wished to travel. You could also call up a damage report (which was quite detailed) by typing "damage report" or even just "dam" into the console. There was sound that accompanied the firing of phasers and maybe other sound as well.

I've looked on Wikipedia's list of Star Trek games but it doesn't seem to be there. Does anyone know the game I'm talking about?

Nah, don't think it was that. The graphics were slightly more advanced.

Have a look on http://www.lemonamiga.com and do a search for star trek. Could be one of them? I also have a vague recollection of the game as you describe it but unfortunately it goes no further than that

I have a book of BASIC computer games, including a Star Trek game. Pages and pages of code to type in, so I never bothered...
