I admit I'm using the health cheat, mainly as I can't be arsed to redo missions, I just want to play through.

I haven't used the no police cheat though.

No cheatery here, most of the missions have been perfectly do-able with good use of cover and headshots aplenty.

No interst in cheating until I've finished it and am just messing about. Do any of the cheats work in multiplayer? Might be interested in that...!

The only sort of cheating I've done is use the special skills of the other characters to my advantage.

That was part of my justification for cheating - as those are cheats too, legal cheats - but complete and utter bks in the real world.

I think all the cheats do is stop you getting two of the achievements.

Not cheating at all. I actually don't think it is that difficult anyway.

Does anyone honestly believe they'd let you cheat in multiplayer?

No cheating here, just good use of the cover system. Had a few incidents involving doors and grenades though, not fun when they bounce back and land at your feet.

Really? I'd say that was EXACTLY like the real world. It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know. yes

Cheating in GTA IV is a right pain in the arse due to having to key in through the phone. Maybe that's good for gamers, but sometimes you just want to get rid of that wanted level . You have to run to somewhere hidden before going through the rigmarole of opening the phone and keying in, otherwise every time you get shot or hit the phone is put away and you have to start again.

Much better when you had a sequence of button presses you could do even while driving in a car. And you can't even save the cheat phone numbers on your phone! (I don't think, anyway).

How do you do that then?

Well once you dial them in it will add a contact called Cheat or something like that, by going into this contact it will list all the numbers you've dialled in.

In the main menu, with contacts/messages etc - at the very bottom (so you press up to access it quicker) it says cheats.
