I was given a PS3 with MGS and Race Driver: Grid - I hadnt planned on getting one so havent really been following what games are out/best.

Any recommendations? I fancy something easy to get into, not too serious and I already have a 360, so have COD4, GTA etc.

Is Ratchet and Clank any good? Ferrari Challenge? (Grid is still sealed so I was going to swap it for something else at lunchtime)

Drake's Fortune is the best of the bunch (aside from MGS4).

Ratchet and Clank is pretty good, although I'm stuck hehe

I've heard good things about Ferrari Challenge and will be getting it at some point.

SWMBO is a big Ratchet & Clank fan. She's completed all the PS2 ones and then bought the PS3 one. She was disappointed as she had it finished in a week and said it was too easy. Bear in mind the others took a few months each to complete.

GT5 Prologue is good for £20 just to gawp at 1080p in game and watch the little TV snippets.

GTA4 is very good, if you have liked any of the others is a must.

Theres loads of demo's in the online shops, so try them out to see if you like any.

you can cue them up and download them while your in bed.

I thought Ratchet & Clank was awesome, took a few hours to get into it, but was hooked thereafter. It is a fairly short game, but there are incentives for completing it a second time.

Heavenly sword was OK and can be bought fairy cheaply, Tiger Wood 08 is quite good also.

Grand Tourismo Prologue is good if you get it cheaply enough. Not very good on line though

Picked up Rachet and Clank, Assasins Creed and also Mass Effect (for the 360) at lunchtime.

Just wondering if to crack open Grid or keep it sealed and swap it for Ferrari Challenge.

Good job I have a day off tomorrow!

resistance-fall of man, is good single player also,
Also you should be able to pick up a S/H copy cheap as it was one of the only games than came on release.

Absolutely. I'm always surprised that people buy games without trying out freely available demos.

I tried Ferrari Challenge briefly at work today, and wasn't really taken with it. Some very strange cameras in there too (notably the chase cam which pitches the car in the centre of the screen and pivots around the front of it, and that weird rear-window camera).

I'll give it a chance though.

Ratchet and Clank is really fun, haven't played it in ages though. Warhawk is great, as well as the orange box. Grid and Dirt are both fun, and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned Ninja Gaiden Sigma. NGS is great but hard!
