What really hacked me off was when I plugged the same 60 quid adapter in the back of my Wii and it worked fine on that....

Shows the difference between Microsoft and Nintendo right there, really!

Dont forget to add the price of 12 months live subscribtion £40, and you'll need 2100 point to purchase the parts of the game that should have been there in the first place.mad

I thought the Wii had wireless built in?

I just ended up buying a 10m network cable instead

Aye, I have a spare wireless dongle I'd have liked to use but I've gone with the long cable option too.

My missus works in gamestation so I picked up a pre-owned one with a bit of staff discount. Made it a bit more acceptable.
Still hideously over-priced though.

Wireless is the Voodoo magic of the devil and shouldn't be used.

Now this is what I thought, but it didn't work until i plugged in the Xbox antenna in the back as well, on the advice of a mate who's far more computer-literate than me.

I blindly followed his advice, pretty much based on this train of thought....

and bingo - all good. Apparently it could be down to the fact I have a router on a ground floor of a 3 storey house and the Wii on the top floor which is out of range, without some "help" from the antenna of the XBox.....?

Anyway, it works now and I need to go and fix some electricty leaking from the ceiling in my house, before I host our weekly Luddite meeting.

As for the £60 360 one.
