Just dug it out for my daughter to play with when she comes at the weekend and forgot how simple and addictive it is (or was).

I used to play a 3d shooter called "darkside" in the late 80's on my amiga 500. It beat the crap out of wolvenstein by actually using poly-based enemies (and it effectively had jumping).

Zool and Zool 2 got played to death as well, great little platformers where you got to pick up sweets and kill an evil block of tofu (all tofu is evil)!

Nigel Mansell Formula 1 on the Spectrum, a true classic!

I also had Vic-Men on my Commodore Vic-20 which was a blatent copy of Pac-Man but just as cool. I'm going to have to dig out my old Vic-20, I haven't had a play on it for years.
