Yeah, unless you manage to complete all the puzzles in the world 2 demo you won't get how different it is. It looks like arty mario (and the timewarping donkey-kong homage was awesome), but the time manipulation makes the game different. It's a clever puzzle game that makes you manipulate the physical relationships between the objects by working out the temporal relationships in the level. I've not seen this before in a game, so I don't have a repertoire of tricks to draw on. Several times in worlds 2 and 3 I've had proper eureka moments. Really good fun.
I've vowed not to look at any guides and work through world by world. Completed world 2 and & and just starting world 4. I see Steve Evil is way-way ahead of me.

The world where you "record" your movements is a real mind bender....some puzzles I got without really being able to explain how I did it, quite odd really!
Sometimes I wonder if there is a certain something missing from the new blockbuster titles, this really is a return to the more pure gaming I remember from back in the good old days...

I haven't played it in some time though so I don't doubt that you'll overtake me soon, Got to the stage where I could almost feel my brain cells fizzling out whilst trying to work out the puzzles.I caved in last night and had to look at a guide for a few of the pieces which in turn helped me figure out a few of the others that had been evading me.
The ending is a bit spinny although it was hard to concentrate on what was going on when there was a small child buzzing about (not mine thankfully).

There's apparently another extended ending involving getting a few more secret bits that involve thinking even further outside the box to get.The ending is a bit spinny although it was hard to concentrate on what was going on when there was a small child buzzing about (not mine thankfully).
