Pre-ordered it on Amazon. Havn't played an demos but I've owned every FIFA since I first got a games console, so it doesn't matter to me.

Tesco offering PS3 and XBOX360 verisions for £29.71 until Monday - available from midnight tonight. Bit of a bummer for me as I stumped up £40 on Amazon. Hey-ho!

Ooooh thanks for the heads up!

I'm hoping this one will be a lot slicker, none of the recent Fifa's or Pro Evo's have hit the spot for me. You can't beat Fifa 98 (I think) where they had the intentional foul button......oh and you could dive. biglaugh

Played the demo for both FIFA and PES and although Pro Evo is improved visually from last year it still seems to play in pretty much the same way.

I have been on Pro Evo for the last 3 versions but I'm fed up of them taking the peas with the updates. It is convenient then that the new FIFA is better so I'm off to get it this evening on the 360.

bought it last night on ps3. great game , much better than 08. ive started on manager mode with spurs but with the addidas live updates all my players are in a bad run of form so im struggling with the world class difficulty and i ruined the computer on world class on 08. it looks much slicker, the ref and linesmen being there is a good thing too. bit dissapointed with the commentry though, it hasnt change at all.anyone played on line yet? i wonder if the online games will be full of 8 year olds with a barcelona fixation?

Whats the deal with the live updates ? Do you get the first for free and then you have to pay ? or did i dream that ?

You can choose one league to update for free, and that'll supply you with updates up until the end of the season for that chosen league.

The others you'll have to pay for, though I'm not sure how much it'll be.
