A friend of mine was saying to me it was worth getting, never played the original though.

I reckon the original was a 6/10 game, but this one just got 9/10 on EG..

Indeed, it is a GTA clone, but with a focus on fun and big explosions, rather than storyline, I think..

was hoping to get this through yesterday, but royal fail has struck again and it still isnt here on release day.

I liked the original and to be fair im looking forward to this one.

i never played the first one but enjoy the GTA series so might get this if it gets good reviews

got it yesterday from play - not anywhere near as good as GTA... it's fun - yes, in a puerile sorta way but the cars handle weird and the environment seems too polished, not gritty and 'realistic' like GTA's.

I played a demo of the first one, so don't rate my comment too highly, but I thought it was average. I may consider buying it if it comes in the <£10 range

I love GTA4. One of my favourite games. I have 2 copies, 360 and PS3, and I'll probably get the PC version too for the modifying-scene that always appears on the PC versions.

Worth the £40.

You gimps all play on 360, and I didn't want to miss out on the multiplayer - but my preffered console (and the one plugged into my TV instead of my PC's monitor) is a PS3.

I'll be in the 'sad bd' group as well then.
I want CoD5 on the PC (have had them all on PC and I like it with mouse & keyboard) but also want it on 360 for the online element with PHers and the like. Oh and having a 32" LCD to play on instead of my PC monitor!

Anyhow, on topic, don't think I'll bother with SR2!!

You'd better get on CoD4 as thats the game of choice. Two of the most prolific players to grace the game won't be getting COD5. (Me and Slowride)

I really liked the original Saint's Row. I haven't played my console for a while, occasional jaunts on the Wii though.

I want a PS3 but can't justify the expense at the moment.
