Far Cry 2 - which platform??
Discussion
I loved Far Cry 1 on my PC, but as time has passed, I find myself increasingly opting for titles on XBox 360 for multiplayer with my mates (who have 360's but crap PCs).
Additionally, whilst my PC isn't 'bad' spec, wise I conscious that it's now a couple of years behind the 'latest' specs.
That said, I still prefer 1st person shooters with mouse/keyboard rather than a controller.
PC version £25, Xbox 360 version £40
So I'm in a right quandry over which platform to opt for!!
GAHH!!!!!
Any advice???

In a game like Far Cry (and Crysis, but even more so...) if you can't have the eye candy turned up it just isn't the same game.
I'm not saying that without the graphics the game is s
t, but you'll miss a certain something

Coming from a PC years back and thinking I wouldn't be able to play without a mouse and keyboard I've yet to find a console FPS that wasn't fine with a pad. Thinking back to all those PC games there are only one or two serious twitch fests that would be impossible without a Mouse and Keyboard, those being the likes of Counterstrike and Unreal Tournament.
Farcry 2 looks more along the lines of a take your time shooter with plenty of time to react and no need for a mouse to play it with.

I know, I'm (slowly) converting. Avid and regular COD4 player and am having a hoot with Mercanaries 2 at the mo (much derided game that needs some playtime to appreciate).Farcry 2 looks more along the lines of a take your time shooter with plenty of time to react and no need for a mouse to play it with.
I think on balance the 360 makes the most sense. I recall how frustrating it was with a previous title when I opted for the PC version, only to find all my mates opted for the360!
