Whats it gonna be GOW2 or World at war?

So fellow Phers whats it gonna be Gow2?or world at war??? i'm still undecided myself.
Both previous games were good but i feel the online gaming far better on cod[only cause i was st at gow]so anyone decided yet the PH games are great fun so some aspect will point me to who on the forum has which so we can carry on the banter

can see more people on here getting world at war for pisthead matches etc, id personaly wait a few weeks, try someones world at war first, and see how many get it, if its posotive go for that

love COD4 on the 360, but being fairly new to it I'm not jumping to COD5 just yet, plus the WW2 type stuff never really grabbed me as much as the modern stuff.

Gears is just amazing, especially loved the CO-OP story mode.

Will probably concentrate on playing COD4 on live as gears isnt as fun online and the Call of duty series has taken a step back going to WW2 theme rather than improving on the modern theme. But at least with the release of these 2 COD4 will be free of some of the sad bds that take gaming far too seriously and also some of those annoying yankee kids will be moving on with any luck.

Edited to add that im looking forward to the new operation flashpoint game out next year.

I've played the multiplayer demo and thats enough to be honest. The single player doesn't interest me all that much.

I know what you mean about GOW, but I've sold the original, and have a load of mates who played it so will be well worth getting.

I did enjoy the single player until i got xbox live,polarbert is right tho i now find playing the single player just doesn't do it like the online play does although i'm far better at cod4 than gow so that may swing it toward w at w for me and with cash very tight the cheapest option looks like it'll do it for now!

I've played the beta as well, and yes it gets boring, but it's only 3 maps and a few of the gametypes that will be available, so not enough for me to base a decision on.

In the end, I was bored of COD4 as well.

I will probably get it regardless, played them all, so would be a shame to stop now.

I will be getting GOW2 as well, but my main reasoning for both games is single/co-op game play. I hated the first Gears online, but loved cod4. So both games should cover all the bases nicely

The Beta test for "Call of Duty World at War" (that people are calling COD5) has been live for a while now. Look around on this forum, you will see a few threads about it, some with Beta code links.
