Hi All,

Wonder if anyone has any advice or recommendations.

My 6 year old boy likes the wii - he loves things like Raving Rabbids (1 and 2), which is mild shoot em up's with plungers and various other inane games.

He also likes things like Carnival games.

I'm really struggling to find some suitable games that don't involve blowing people up, killing people, scaring the bejesus out of you etc

Anyone have any recommended games?

Warioware: Smooth Moves. Shows up Raving Rabbids for what a poor game it really is. Also anyone can pick it up and work it out.

Might be a bit young, but Super Mario Galaxy is great too, violence goes about as far as the odd bum bounce.

Thanks Steve, that looks interesting. I was looking at the big planet game - me thinks it might be a bit difficult!

Admittedly I am biased but have you thought about any of the LEGO games, StarWars, Indy, Batman ? Aimed squarely at kids his age... and playable enough that you can join in with them too.

Good shout. If my girlfriend can manage then it should be fine for someone of six hehe

Wii Play bundle, comes with a controller for less than the price of a controller on it's own.

Also Mario Kart is a good laugh and always a good one for the family to play together.

Mario Olympics. My 7 year old loves it.

+1 for Smooth Moves. Great fun at any age.

The Sports pack is good too, but I guess he's already got that.
