Forza 2 - Pistonheads Touring Car Championship (PHTCC)
Discussion
I was thinking about something like this whilst tuning an Astra and a Scion Tc to touring car spec (B700) last night and thought what a good idea this would be as these car are moderately fast and very controllable and lap times are very comparable.
I'd like to see what other peoples inputs would be.
Just to add, I currently don't have Live, but will be getting it.
Over to you.

We ran a series last year for the PHTCC http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...
At B700 the cars were quick enough & very close. Look through the original thread as it should give some good ideas, if need any help / advice then contact any of the guys involved.

Has anyone got a car with the PH logo they could gift over to me too?
Maybe stay away form PH logos and have individual liveries, but have the PH logo attached to the bottom of the car number? All proffesional like Has anyone got a car with the PH logo they could gift over to me too?

I was thinking that we try and match this to the actual BTCC season, that might be too far away, but it would give people time to mke cars and especially for me, get online.
Here's the car I used in last seasons PHTCC Championship. It's build to B700 with all handling upgrades put on before ANY tuning to improve BHP was carried out. All the guys ran to the same regulation which made for ridiculously close racing.....

If there's space I'm up for dusting the old girl off for a few races!!

Agree with having a look though that thread, A very close and enjoyable season was had by all involved with that and I belive that when we start the next PHTCC season there will be a couple of free slots so it's worth keeping an eye out!Speaking of free slots, the first PHGTC season is due to get underway soon and there is at least one grid slot on offer for anyone who is interested!
Matt will you have time to join the PHGT Championship when it starts?

If not, I'm pretty flexible at the moment and could probably make any other night through the week..http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I can't speak for the others but I would be happy shifting the racing to a Thursday or a Tuesday night for example if it means making a full grid?!

I could do Tuesday or Thursday nights at a similar time, but as always I'd go with the majority. Mondays are a definate no for me though!!!Resurrection!!!

It's all very straight-forward once you get a Gold subscription.
At the main menu of the Forza screen there is a tab you will have noticed called "Multiplayer" (or something similar) the same place you would go if you wanted to set up a split screen race with some mates at home, in that bit another option will become available called xbox live mode (or something similar!
) and in there you can either search for a game already in progress or start your own.
When starting your own new lobby you would just set it up exactly as you would a split screen race. There are a few fancy things you can do like locking everyone in the lobby to a specific unmoded car, restricing the power/weight/region etc..
Sorry if this makes very little sence, still recovering from a slightly Strongbow fueled night!
