COD 5 Released on Friday

Any other gamers looking forward to the Release of Call of Duty 5 on Friday?. I played COD 4 extensively on my X-Box 360 and loved it, especially the on-line game play.

I've heard that COD5 has been written by another company and that it goes back to WW2. What are the general thoughts??

Lots of people have been playing it for the last few weeks as a beta test. I didn't like it that much, it really didnt add much to COD4 - although I'll probably end up buying it and trading FarCry2 in for it.

I'm on holiday on friday as well...

can't wait for this to come out, was a legend on COD3, moved up to COD4, which i loved, but missed the whole WW2'ness of it all.

Have been looking forward to COD5 for months, and Farcry 2 is definately getting traded in for it, Farcry is ste!

As a stop gap, Bad Company will fill your time while yur waiting for your copy of COD5 to arrive.

I have Friday off work too ... and my copy of CoD5 will be posted through my letterbox that morning ... but I'm at the MPH Motorshow all day So a pretty good weekend! Hehe!

I loved the beta version and i even said i'd not buy it as it was ww2 again but i have to say i like it just as much as COD4 if not more especially when me and my son went in the tank together that was flippen awesome and a great laugh,its just there's also GOW2 although i've not played that yet
