I was stuck on the Pripyat sniper mission (I kept getting walloped before the chopper could extract Price and I). I decided I was going to complete it tonight no matter what.

Then I played the next mission. And the next one. And the next one... Now I have adrenaline coursing through my veins, I'm jumpy and on edge and I've got a mild form of bloodlust. And it's quarter-to-two.

I should NOT play Call of Duty 4 before bedtime. Nope. laugh

It's addictive, and wholly immersive. I've lost hours at a time to that game. I'm trying to get it done as I have FC2 to play and COD:WAW coming out on Friday.

I still haven't finished Assassin's Creed or even started Crysis:Warhead, Bioshock, Medal of Honour: Airborne or Sins of a Solar Empire. I'm only part-way through Race Driver: GRID, Race 07 and Toca 3.

There are not enough gaming hours in the day.

hehe know exactly how you feel.

Gears of war 2 has taken up an unbelievable amount of my free time, completed it once and will do so at least once more in co-op and once in single player before putting it to bed. Also got forza 2 to finish and COD4, though the new COD:WAW doesn't have half the appeal for me as the more modern one, that's not to say I won't give it a chance though as I'm sure it's still addictive.

Also got little big world on the PS3 which is the best game ever, am being pressured into getting fallout 3 and fable II and desperately want the motoGP game.

feck, I'm losing my life to gaming! Feck all else to do now the bikes in the garage for a wee while though smile

I haven't bought any games for my PS3 for months as I can't even keep up on the PC front at the moment. I've always found that I get on better with shooters on the 'puter than on the console, and used to say the opposite about driving games being better on the console. That was before I got the Logitech G25. It will actually connect to both, however I have nowhere to 'site' it for playing on the TV. It's been used exclusively on the PC instead, hence things like GRID, TOCA and Race 07 getting played more.

You can't play CoD4 on the wheel. I've tried. laugh

Can't beat the PC for shooters, but I love the pick up and go aspect of the consoles these days, and got sick of spending thousands a year on the top PC hardware hehe

Plus it means my watercooled rigs are even more understressed and I get something to do, like posting here whilst waiting for the next round to start hehe

Love the wheel, wish I had somewhere to use one as I can see them being a massive advantage.

Good Gamesmile

But not one to help time management issues, you can easily loose track of two hours playing it.

Not all universities are particularly friendly towards consoles in that respect, I can't get my PS3 online anymore, meaning my COD4 summer has drawn to a close. I have been reduced to Midnight Club LA on offline mode.

Do you know of any way of fixing it so I can play online again? I don't know what is blocking it.

Your a bit unlucky there, when I was in halls at uni we had amazing internet( and I mean amazing). Nothing was blocked and you could download a film torrent in about 30mins to an hour at worst.

I just lost another 3 hours. Dammit!

I'm also stuck again. Sometimes the hail of gunfire seems completely impenetrable.

My missus banned me from playing COD 4 late at night a while ago, after I woke her up in the night shouting at her 'get up soldier, we're in a god damn war here' - whilst I was asleep!
