Okay, i picked this up from Blockbuster for £25 (apparantly only £20 on play) rather than the latest NFS based on the reviews..

First opinions are very good - nice realistic city, day/night and weather cycles, style is more arcadey, but then i have Forza for simulation driving, and a nice touch to this style is the roadside objects (such as trees) dont automatically ruin your race if you tap them (as happens in some driving games), and even if you do go sideways into a building or head first into a truck, depending on the difficulty of the opponent, it does seem possible to catch up.

Not sure about the 'draft boost' and powers, but they add an interesting element to the racing without it being 'rocket launchers' and things...

But anyway, im at the 3 car mark - a lightly tuned Scirroco, the Camaro and now a 240Z... and I need to decide where from here - do i sell them and buy something new to compete in the newer, harder races (nice difficulty curve so far), or tune the scirroco or 240 to a higher level? (not got enough 'rep' or whatever to unlock the Camaro's tuning options).

Anyone been playing got some good tips?

Make sure you drive very carefully for the latter parts of each race. Too many times I have led from the start with a decent lead (the pack keeping up through handicapping the leader) and then me having a spectacular accident a few corners from the end and finishing last. If you keep you nitrous, you can use it to ensure a win if you are mid-pack.

I am currently running about in a highly tuned Skyline and less so in a Chevy Camaro 'DUB' for Muscle races.
