Right, bored at home in the eves as the GF is off visiting her folks.

I have about 20-25 quid spare, I however do not have xbox live at the moment.

I have got Forza 2, Adv Warfighter 2, Just Cause, Fallout 3, Fifa 08, PES 08, Oblivion and Viva Pinata (woo)

So I need a game that'll keep me entertained offline for hours.

Im thinking PGR4 but I've read that the career is pretty short...

Ideas?

PGR4 will take you some time to whip through.

Fable 2 is also available now in Gamestation and on Amazon for £20

Combine that with the Currys/PC World 110% price match guarantee and I just screwed Currys out of £22 and bagged a copy for just over £17.

I wasn't amazingly impressed with Fable 2 when I played it (only for an hour of so) seemed too cartooney for me, what are you finding it like?

I'd go for Bioshock, not that long but an amazing game non the less, or...

See if you can find a pre-owned copy of GTA4, should be around the £20 mark for pre-owned by now.

I found it to be pretty charming. But I can also see it being a bit of a Marmite game to be honest.

I've just bought Far Cry 2 and Midnight Club from Play for 17 quid each.

I did enjoy Deus Ex, and Fallout 3, I'm assuming there are similarities?

GTA4 Damn fine suggestion! I'll have a look.

Although I expect prices to be holding as the ad on the telly is running again (this time for PC)

Bioshock is worth the price just for the atmosphere alone, very eerie and creepy in places! Probably still my favourite Xbox game, it is very similar to Fallout 3, afterall that was described as Oblivion mixed with Bioshock.

Bioshock is utterly wonderful. Certainly should be considered.

Bioshock
GTA 4
PGR4?

I'll need to buy it in a shop as my bank account has a few 'problems' at the moment and I only have cash. So fingers crossed I can get it from my local town centre.

If you like arcade-style racing games then Burnout Paradise has yet to be beaten and the career will take you a loooong time to complete.
