Call of Duty - Modern Warefare 2 Announced

Surely Call of Duty 6 isn’t new news, but it’s still news, isn’t it? Activision Blizzard has announced that the sixth title in its best-selling franchise will be dubbed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and is slated to hit stores in Fall 2009. Series creator Infinity Ward is currently handling development.

COD 5 was made by a different company.

COD 6 will be made by the same people that made COD 4.

Should be good.

COD4 hit the streets Oct/Nov 07 (from memory), and COD5 was released a couple of weeks ago.

If COD6 is due "Fall 09", that's about the same again - 10-12 months after the last one....

Not played COD5 so can't comment on whether it's actually any good, but I do find the modern setting more appealing (although I did play and enjoy the WW2 setting of COD2 and 3) so I'll be looking forward to COD6.

Actually I put that it was called call of duty modern warfare 2, must have been a really lucky guess though.

I'm getting into COD 5 quite nicely now I've got most of the weapons & perks. Yeah the maps aren't that wqell thought out and the guns are lacking somewhat but it does play the same as 4 and I need a new challenge.

So with the release of COD6 we might have the full PH clan back in the field?

Hell yeah! I've not bought COD5 - played the demo and didnt think too much of it to be honest. Fallout3 is taking up most of my time.

The PH Clan are back and still playing COD4 , none of this "call the dogs in". REAL men call in an Air strike or Helicopter support

My thoughts too! I have cod 5 and it is utter utter wk! Hardcore plays the same as cod 4, but the maps and spawn points are st. Any non hardcore mode lags so much that its just unplayable. If anyone wants a copy let me know... Im a psychologist and can help you.

BTW mk4 I have worked out how to become invincible on zombie mode, Ill show you later.
