Hi folks,

Trying to buy the above for a Christmas present but it seems to be out of stock everywhere I've tried. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Tried play, amazon, asda, toysrus, tesco, hmv...

I've been looking for this for 2 weeks and no luck. Can't believe they don't have more on the shelf for Christmas.

Look at the above site. You register and they monitor the on-line stores. Then they send you an e-mail when they see it in stock. As you can see it worked for me.

umm, and just getting box's made up and selling 'basically' empty R4's.

so no chip board in them.

I know someone who had this done to them. so be wary of buying them, but still do, there bloody good.

Only way i could get a copy that wasnt £60 (rip-off merchants everywhere) was through a friend at GAME and even he struggled to get some allocated stock.

That Wii site is good tho, as long as you act on the email asap

I managed to get 2 copies from W H Smiths the other day.

Well worth calling around to see who has them.

You buy the R4 chip, which allows you to play backups.

Because it's one of the best games on the DS.

Missus and I have both completed it - but then we got it earlier in the year from the US.

So, what does that do for over £30 that an R4DS doesn't for around £12, £15 if you want the SDHC one?

By the looks, you can save gamestate, play wireless games, adjust LCD brightness in-game and it supports Slot 2 and rumble apps. Oh yeh, and it comes in a shiny box.
