Slight backwards compatible upgrade.

Supports WPA2.
16Mb Ram.
2 Cameras.

On the negative side it'll be region locked and the ARM7 chip is gone. Same 2d/3d hardware too.

The existing ones don't work though...

...also it is rumoured that the games will include firmware updates...

I think there is one card reader that works though. Think they did it in the same way as they did with the PSP. A picture viewer exploit. (which will no doubt be patched)

However, even so this method only runs homebrew/unsigned code in DS mode. (None of the new features available)
