PS3 Controls (steering)?

Just got myself a PS3 with a few games and I notice that 'currently' I can only used the left raised joystick style pad to steer in most/ all games? On my old PS2 you could also just use the left cross pad which I much prefer as it was easier to make small adjustments..

Need to change the settings for this, Thumb stick is analogue!

any idea where the settings will be? I have looked in both the game and PS3 main settings?

Yes in the game settings (options) go into scroll down to the wheel icons and its in there, you can configure all the buttons top what you want.
