Ok, ever so slightly disappointed in that I have just finished Fallout 3 on the PS3 yesterday. I really enjoyed it but I had expectations that it would last longer than it did! I bought it in the sales just after Chrimbo and with TV being rubbish, it got played quite a lot. There are other missions that I haven't done, but obviously I have finished the main quest, so its all finished really.

From what I understand the downloadable content due shortly will only be for the PC and X360 versions of the game. So, my question is, what next? Anything similar to Fallout 3? I have Oblivion too, but never quite got into that as its a little slower. I might give it another crack, but not expecting miracles.

I don't really like 3d shooters so much, mainly because I am pretty crap at them. Fallout 3 worked for me because of VATS and that its an RPG too, so I only died about twice!

Any suggestions?

Mass Effect? Not sure if it's out on PS3 but it's an enjoyable space RPG/shooter. It's a lot like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, although not in the Star Wars universe.

You should give Oblivion another go, it really is a great game. I've played it through twice since I got it...

Give Dead Space a whirl. I've been so jaded by computer games recently, and it's suprisingly good fun.

Going fallout ---> oblivion was really hard for me.

Although have you tried just playing Fallout again, this time do everything, if I say Riley's Rangers, Republic of Dave or those big dish things in the top left of the map - will you look at me blankly? If yes then play again properly

Play Fallout 1 and 2 if you haven't already done so.

Bit of a difference between them and fallout 3 isn't there! I wasn't the biggest fan of 2, but loved 3.

Yeah there's quite a lot of difference graphically but all 3 of them are excellent games in my opinion. smile Fallout 2 with Fallout 3 graphics would be immense. biggrin

I'm in the same boat so started again (I literally just did the main quest) and have already been playing twice as long as the first time round and haven't really touched the main quest yet.

Mind you I did exactly the same with Mass Effect and finished my 3rd playthrough with must be getting on for 90 hours of playtime total. RPG's are best smile
