As above, how do you play your forza? I'm probably going to be online with live next week, so wondering how you all play, so i can try choose some worthy opponents biggrin

I usually have;

Line - Off
ABS - Off
TCS - Off
STM - Off
A.I - Medium
Damage - Simulation
Tyre and Fuel - Simulation

Unless i'm in the prototype cars, such as the speed8, then i need the traction control on.

I started off with

Line - Braking only
ABS - Off
TCS - Off
STM - Off
A.I - Hard
Damage - Simulation
Tyre and Fuel - Simulation

At level 29 I had to turn ABS and TCS on. I'm now at level 34 and have just had to put AI down to medium. Next time I get stuck I'll just have to lump it and actually learn how to drive smile

I've never had anything on, I hate them! I had to reduse difficulty to Medium though after about level 30

everything off and AI on hardest... I still find it a bit easy.

especially the time trials in arcade mode... did beat the time on most tracks on my second lap.

I'm struggling with the Cupra GT time trial on the King Cobra.

Managed a 6.49 on the Nurburgring in the 962c though biggrin

Auto gearbox and the braking line for me; no stability, traction or ABS smile
Simulation tyres & fuel and AI at Hard.
Although now doing the later series @ level 49 I may drop that as the AI are silly quick in the R- cars!!

I normally play with

Line - Off
ABS - On
TCS - Off
STM - Off
A.I - Medium
Damage - Simulation
Tyre and Fuel - Simulation

Depending on what I'm driving I'll turn the TCS on and difficulty down to easy if I'm having particular difficulty with a race.

ABS - On
TCS - On
STM - Off

Damage - Simulation
Tyre and Fuel - Simulation

However now i have started to play online more im starting to have to get used to having no TC.

I only discovered the braking line a few weeks ago after having owned forza for about 4 months.

It doesnt matter how hard you play it in career mode, when you play online you will have to up your game several notches and rethink your tuning stategy.
You are better of just doing what you have to do to complete career mode and then focusing on tuning for the track.

Why do you still have the braking line on? Surely by now you must know the tracks inside out?

Of course I do, I've just got used to relying on it and judging how late I can brake by how long i'm on the red line before applying brakes. I've found with ABS off and a decent setup you can brake after it advises you too, so I still find it useful.

I'd think you'd find by turning it off though you'll start to rely on roadside markers to signal your braking zones. Just found it odd that's all as it seems to be one of those crutches that you're still using even though it's long outlived its usefulness.
