The 'disc read error' thing was a global problem last week, they sorted it out.

I'll see you all on tonight with the new maps, xbox live downloads were going slowly last night too, I was downloading forza cars last night and it took a good 15 mins for each pack.

I'll start mine downloading as soon as I get home (5.30-ish). Hopefully it will be ready by xbox-time (usually 8pm after sons bath/dinner/bedtime and my dinner).

No need, you can queue up downloads on xbox.com marketplace, just get him to switch on the console, the net will do the rest...

Don't whatever you do type xboc.com instead, like I did. Especially at uni in a computer room full of girls, not sure I'll ever here the end of that, (NSFW unless you work in the porn industry) by the way. I've got onto the page oon my xbox to add points and it keeps failing!
