Forza 2 - gift cars to myself??

Hi all,

I have been playing Forza 2 for years now, when I was at uni on my xbox, at home on my bro's xbox and at uni in another room on my mates xbox. Over time I seem to have built up 3 fairly large profiles using the same live account on three separate hard drives. Now I'm done with uni and just having a go at playing on my own xbox, I've noticed I'm a little short on cash and cars on this profile and it seems stupid to do it all again. So is there a way of getting the contents of my other two profiles over to my own xbox with the same profile name? Bit of a strange question I know, but it sounds like I need to maybe gift cars to myself, though how do I tell it to go to one box and not the other?? I'm confused!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hmmm, that's a tricky one.

As far as i'm aware there is no option for you to gift cars to yourself..

This is just an idea, and i'm not sure if you would get away with it, but I reckon it would work.

Would I be right in thinking all your cars are stored onto their individual Hard Drives and you want them all to be merged onto the same one?

If so, let me try to explain this. Bear with me - it made sence when I was thinking about it in my head!



Between the three xbox's (yours, your brothers & your mates), the only thing you have in common are the gamertags.

Now, considering all three box's are connected to the internet you should be able to sign into your XBL account from any one at seperate times.

Taking this into considerating, I reckon if you were to sign onto your brothers xbox with you live account, put the vehicles in that garage in the auction house (for an excessive amount of money to ensure nobody else nabs them) and then go back home and sign into your own xbox the cars you posted earlier should still be there in the AH.

Repeat this process for your mates xbox and (in my mind) it should work!

Could you gift all the cars from your other profiles to a mate then, delete the unwanted profiles on the other xboxs and then get your mate to gift them back to you? You'd then be claiming them back on the profile you want to keep.

I was just about to suggest the same thing, or set up a dummy account for a month and gift them all to that dummy account then back to yourself on the single machine, if you dont trust any of your mates to give them back.

Just another thought could you tansfer them onto a memory card and try and merge the contents??? Not sure if you can and rather you than me trying it incase it all goes Pete Tong.
