Hi Guys

I'm currently re-enjoying Gran Turismo 4 after deleting all my game data and starting again.

There are lots of roads and paths that lead off the main tracks but all of them seem to be blocked off. Are any actually open?

Cheers

No secret tracks that I know of, but I believe that if you go into the used car 90's section you can get a black R390 and GT-One. They are only there on 1 particular day, not sure which day it is though. I'm sure Google will tell you.

Every 694-700 day period they show up, you can also get the 787B and R92CP in black (used early 90s).

You can also break out of track limits by hitting some areas of the barriers at a certain angle and drive outside the circuit. Don't know if this is for all tracks but there's a thread on it on gtplanet. smile

As said above. It's a glitch though, not a feature. When you manage to bust out of the track you end up driving through the scenery instead of around it. The only one I remember is at Monaco, after the tunnel, fail to turn left and instead drive straight into the barrier in front of you. It only works, say, one in every ten attempts or so, and I only ever managed it in the FGT car.

The 4 Black Beauties appear as described but cost well over a million each. There are a few other cars that only make rare appearances in the used car lots too. Most, like the Black Beauties, are just unique colours for vehicles available elsewhere.

I remember breaking out of the tiny little handling test circuit way back when.

Was the only way I could get VMAX from the Toyota GT One hehe
