Every Thursday an entry thread will be created for the following Tuesdays meeting for drivers who wish to enter to post, entries please by close of play on Monday. Subject to the number of entries 1, 2 or even 3 lobbies may run with random selection once more as to who is in each lobby. Entries will be on a first come first served basis, with the results of the random selection posted on Tuesday mornings.

Between 10 to 15 million credit prize fund (many thanks to Joe (JH) for the support)

REGULATIONS
All cars are no greater than B700 with everything free except for the following:-

No aero modifications at all
No forced induction (supercharging or turbocharging) unless standard on vehicle. If so then no upgrades can be made to standard.
No engine swaps (only upgrades allowed)
Sport tyres (No slicks)
This does mean (as always) that people have to be honest with their upgrades!

CHEATING
(Don't as it's for fun, but just to put you all off)
If any driver proves to be too competitve and therefore it is considered that they may have a car to doesn't comply fully with the rules, they agree, as part of entering for the championship to temporarily gift the car to another driver (to be decided by me) in order that back to back lap times comparision can be made. If following the outcome of such test it is still considered that the car (when raced in the championship) may have not been compliant points deduction, exclusion or expulsion from the championship may be made. Following such test the car will be returned. Failure to gift any such car on request will result in expulsion from the championship.

SUCESS BALLAST
Success ballast WILL form part of the championship so as to prevent runaway winners. Success ballast will be in the form of a reduction in the PI of cars for the next weeks race meeting and will be introduced as follows:-

In each race (2 races per round)
1st = reduction in existing PI of 30 points
2nd = reduction in existing PI of 20 points
3rd = reduction in existing PI of 10 points
4th = increase in existing PI of 10 points (up to the maximum of B700)
5th = increase in existing PI of 20 points (up to the maximum of B700)
6th = increase in existing PI of 30 points (up to the maximum of B700)
7th = increase to B700
8th = increase to B700

When the points table is posted following each round it will show the PI for each driver for the following race. This will also be shown when the lobby random selections are posted. Drivers must ensure their cars do not exceed the PI stated.

PRIZE FUND
End of season prize fund

1st - 5,000,000CR
2nd - 2,500,000CR
3rd - 1,750,000CR
4th - 850,000CR
5th - 500,000CR
6th - 250,000CR

A further 2,000,000CR minimum will be awarded at the end of the season for other 'suprise' awards to be decided by me!!

Sorry Muira and GT40 are both out, they're 60's sportcars not touring cars (Ineligable list updated)

I did say that Forced Manual was subject to others thoughts. If others would rather it be left off to allow Auto or Manual then that's fine by me.

I've not driven it, but if it proves too quick it I'll think about it. Does it start with a higher PI as standard and therefore can't have as many modifications before hitting B700? If so it should regulate itself (if you see what I mean?)

Although Automatic wasn't an option back then (Unless you used a CVT Tranny =p) I think Auto should be allowed since this is a good laugh, right? Can't stand Auto myself... Gimme that redline! =)

Lap increments are 1,2,3,5,10,25,50 right?

Is there an entry fee that we can put towards the prize money?

Oh, now then, this sounds like a laugh.
I quite fancy the idea of trying to take an Elan around the outside of someone in the Stingray or Barracuda, only for them to blat back past on the straights. If only I was that good!

I'd be fine with manual, but I'm not sure about which night. Monday is good for me.

Sounds like a great laugh, I think that rocket ship Z had induction so will be excluded. Not sure how your going to regulate that, guess we could have someone who isn't in the championship do a little scrutineering, shame you cant lock tunes / upgrades.

I must admit I didn't check all the eligible cars for induction as some can only be bought via the AH subject to the region you're in. If it's got induction then it's probably out and as with JH's Carrera Cup we just have to be honest and trust each other to obey the rules. After all it's only a game and a giggle at the end of the day!!
