Hi all

Played HAWX online on the PC last night. Ended up in a 1v1 against someone ranked much higher than me (him lvl 35, me lvl 26).

Anyhoo, the first match ended with a win to me hehehe. I thanked him for a close match (wasn't really despite him using all-aspect [ie lazy idiot] missiles) and asked if he wanted a guns-only match. To which he said sure and fight's on!

Shame then that the stupid, cheating t0sser decides to hose me down twice with guided missiles before I leave, mumbling "what an @rsehole".

What a tw@t. He possibly gained a few XPs but for what? Being seen as a total c0ck by a stranger? Does this happen a lot online with internet warriors (probably a spotty 14 yr old yank geek with an seriously overdeveloped mouse hand)?

OK, its a naff rant but its my first and no-one at work admits to gaming so I needed to vent.

Extremely common, online "etiquette" is non-existent...

Best bet is to "game" online with friends or find some like minded gamers in a server and start up a password protected match smile

yes Kill 'em all.

BTW, is HAWX any good? I downloaded the demo and thought it looked quite good but I have yet to see anyone playing it...

I like it. Its pretty addictive to rank-up as well.

Its not MS Flight Simulator, but doesn't try to be. Pretty much like Ace Combat but for the PC.

Online can be fun (co-op and deathmatch) but you need to unlock the decent planes and weapons otherwise you get stomped.

I'm glad I bought it but even more glad I paid £16 for it, not full price.

HTH
