Matchmaking on Halo 3, grrrr....

Had Halo3 since it came out and started having problems matchmaking about a year ago. It'll find players, load up the team screen and then send me straight back to the lobby. This basically made me leave the game alone for about a year. Thought I'd try it out as I've upgraded my XBL again and still got the same problem. Every other game works fine online it's just Halo. Anyone got any ideas?

Do you have all the DLC. I can only play social slayer as I only have the Heroic maps.

I've just been through similar with Forza, seems it could be one of a number of things.

Are you using a BT homehub by any chance?

No not BT homehub, although I've heard bad things about the. I'm plugged directly into the router and haven't downloaded any of the optional map packs, this problem only happens with Halo, gars and PES are fine. Strange
