I've had an idea - I may be pissing in the wind, but bare with me...

Now, Pistonheads has a quite a number of very capable tuners/painters in its community, the dirty boys' tuning competition showcased both aspects fantastically.

So.. Why don't we all get our heads together and get a garage set up on the FM2.net forums?

I mean think about it. Between the regular lot I reckon we've got a combined age of at least over 200 years, and as we all know, wisdom comes with age ( wink ) so it doesn't take a genius to work out that that right there is a st load of 'real life experience' that can be put towards the tunes and this, from a business/advertising point of view is something that IMO should bode quite well with the punters. How many other garages can honestly admit that? hehe

So how about it?

No...? hehe

I've got some decent tunes and I'm (slightly above) average at painting, if that's of any use?

Sounds great to me, altough I can't tune and haven't got the patience for painting.

But I'll do whatever.

Well maybe a few more tuner comps to really get people into tweaking and then we could go forward...
I'm not much of a tuner, but I am quite good and chucking together logos for paint jobs! smile

I'm sure us working together will help teach those not so good at tuning and help refine the tunes dune by others.
