Forza Motorsport 2 - Problem Receiving Gifted Cars... HELP!

Both Curry and Broadspeed have sent me cars on FM2. The car gift message comes up as normal, but when I try and download the car the following message appears: -

All I could find on FM.net was this in the FAQ section: -

Q: I can't seem to access the Auction House or gift cars because the game tells me that I've tampered with my profile and I know I clearly haven't. What gives?

A: If you've received a tampered profile message and you know you haven't actually tampered your profile (i.e., duped cars by reloading a backed-up profile), there is a way to get you out of this jam without having to wipe your beloved save game -- here's how:

To help you with your problem, I need your Gamertag and Windows LiveID PUID (or unique ID). Huh? What's a PUID you say? The easiest way to find out your PUID is for you to go to this link and scroll all the way down the page. There will be a value named “Unique ID” positioned just above the Save/Cancel buttons. To log in, you needs the exact same Windows LiveID that is linked to your Gamertag. Please email me ([e-mail]) the value named “Unique ID” positioned just above the Save/Cancel buttons on the page, and don't forget to include your Gamertag in your email. When you include your Gamertag, it's very important that you give us the exact spelling and capitalization of your Gamertag, otherwise our system will give us a mismatch on your name and PUID.

We'll try to get your account fixed as soon as we can, so please be patient. Oh, and for those of you who got the tampered message because you did in fact try to dupe cars to exploit on the Auction House, don't bother emailing us to lift your ban. All it takes is one look on the server to see that you've duped and you'll only end up making yourself look that much sillier.

Now I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything to get myself banned, so is this the likely problem? Or is it something else I don't know about?

Any help would be appreciated guys, because I really want to see what I've got!

Among them are problems with the Forza Motorsport 2 Auction House and Gifting (since we go through LIVE to get there), the Dashboard Marketplace, gamer cards, gamer pictures (look around!) and Matchmaking, among other things.

If people would scan the threads to see what's going on, you'll find there is (1) already several other threads on the subject, (2) problems on the gamer cards/pictures, (3) everyone receiving the same messages and (4) References to check Xbox LIVE's Operations Blog, Major Nelson's website and even the Xbox LIVE Support website (which you cannot get to right now - so that's a sign).

It hasn't come back for me since Tuesdays maintenance work on XBL. There was a thread on fm.net saying that they're looking into it.

I was getting the same message earlier trying to get on Auction house.

Basically since the 'upgrade' on Tuesday there has been an issue with a number of XBL games, not just FM2, they are looking into it, but may take a few more days to rectify, advice from SNOWOWL on FM.net is to avoid trying to send or recieve any gifted or AH cars until it has been resolved.

There have been about 50 threads appear on FM.net in the last 48hrs, it would appear that most people are getting this message, only a lucky few haven't had it. If I see anything on FM.net I will update you guys.

I've got 4 cars sold on the AH, 6 unsold, 5 won, 7 waiting to be bought from various garages and 10 in my garage waiting to be listed, very very p***ed off that the AH aint working

In layman terms the AH and gifting is fked.
Dont waste your time trying to transfer cars.

Aye it's starting to get a bit old... They had all that time to plan the update, they've had +24 hours since implementation... As much as I wasn't an entrepreneur of the FM2:AH i still liked browsing the cars =)

Looks like it appears to be working again, as a few people still haven't clicked it may be a good time for bargains and possibly sales, I've sold cars worth 3.5mill in the last hour!
