aaaargh this is so annoying.....i really want one but I'm going on holiday on wednesday so it probably won't arrive in timerage...and you can't send it to another address for security reasons. hopefully there'll be more promotions like this in the near future, i guess the g25 is getting quite old.

I resisted the temptation. I don't need it. I'll hardly use it. And £100 is £100.

It's only a bargain if you'll use it. Otherwise it's just spending £100

Wow. How responsible is that? smile

It's a 5 week month, and I wont use it enough, and I've nowhere to keep it, and wifey-to-be will kill me...

12 hours to decide...

Want.

Not that there is anything wrong with the G25, but, the new G27 version will be out before Christmas. Hence the price cuts.

Really wish this hadn't been posted - unbelievably tempted...!

Stupid question for those that already have one - does the wheel have to be fixed to a table? The girlfriend might break me if I start attaching things to the new living room furniture!

Yeah it needs bolting onto something.

It'll be interesting to see how the G27 compares with the Fanatec wheels.
I'm rather tempted by one for the 360, but I think it's a bit stupid to have two steering wheels, the cheapest of which was £150! hehe

For me its an easy choice. A proper sensitive clutch and two motors driving the effects.

Even if they were to bring out a G27, I'm not sure what else I'd really want.

I'm quite happy with the single motor momo wheel I have currently, and the effects on that are brilliant in rFactor.

Three four five motors isn't going to add that greatly to the experience, but a decent progressive clutch and a program that can use it will smile

Hi folks,
Play have got this offer back on over the BH weekend. Even though the new G27 is out this still looks great VfM.

Anybody recommend a good seat they use with this wheel?
I use a gameracer seat with mine: http://www.gameracer.co.uk/

Great chair and seat!
Hope this helps

So... if I were to buy one of these, what PC games should I get to go with it?

Does it work well with Grid?

Having read this thread, and the other thread about the wheel stand gizmo, I've placed an order with Play for a G25 at £99.99. The only concern I have is that once the order was placed it said "Out of stock" (even though it is still for sale on the website). Does anyone know if this is a result of them not holding a large stock of such a premium item, or whether it means I am going to get an email shortly saying my order isn't going to be fulfilled?

Bad news dude, I just had a reply from Play telling me that the G25 sold out before they could process my order and that they are not expecting new stock to come in. I ordered mine around 12ish on Sunday so you may want to give them a shout if you ordered after this time.

Does anyone know anywhere else offering good deals on G25s?

I had an email from scan yesterday.
They have it at £125.
Not quite as good, but better than the £150 or so they've been retailing at for a while!
