Rockband vs. Guitar Hero World Tour on Wii

Looking at getting one of these for my boys birthdays in late September, so we can all jam and annoy the neighbours.

I'm tempted by pre-ordering Beatles Rockband edition, due out in early September but would welcome some advice on which system is better, considering we'll be playing them on the Wii. We're more into poppy rock than heavy stuff and I think Beatles Rockband might be just the thing...
