Regifting Robin

Anybody have any idea how this works? If you do it properly it works every time. I didn't even touch the keyboard or mouse and it worked. If I just picked a random number, it didn't.

Are they in my head?

Two digits, take away the two individual digits is the same as
= (10A+B)-A-B
= 9A

Look at the grid, every multiple of 9 is the same. Whatever numbers you chose it will always be a multiple of 9. It randomises the grid each go, to make it seem like it's reading your mind
