I remember this classic from old and fancy picking it up on the PC for cheap. A quick search seems that they haven't been made for a while now.


What one is the best on the PC? What was the last version made?

Is the classic 2D worms the way to go or did the 3D versions do it justice?

It is available for the Xbox, Wii and on the iphone.

Still awesome.

2D worms is far superior, the 3D ones are ok....but a bit over complex really

If you have a PS3, pick up the original PS1 Worms - that was the best. You can get it from the XBL Arcade but it's the later version with the large characters which was never as good IMHO.

Lost many, many hours of study time at Uni playing 4-player Worms with housemates!

The best PC version IMO is Worms:Armageddon.

Anyone ever play grenade only matches? They certainly improved your skill levels! Trying to bounce the little buggers off scenary, or getting them to blow up in midair right above your opponents head was quite challenging.

Classic 2D 'Worms 2" was the one for me, never got on with the 3D version.

'Tis the best version. Many hours wasted.

The X-Box live version is pretty good but a little limited.
