I am buying a PS3 just for this game. I've looked at what the author calls an "almost official" car list. I nearly exploded with excitement reading through it, and I hadn't even got past Alfa Romeo. All the cars I've ever owned are on there too, which is always a good thing, and Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti are on there. But there's inevitably a price to pay, which is its also stuffed with so many little Korean stboxes. But Vatanen's Pikes Peak Peugeot 405 makes up for that.

Also good to see Koenigsegg, Porsche, Caparo and Radical on there. But the best news of all is that the Chevy Lacetti and Suzuki Liana are both on there. Now I can have a go at beating The Stig round TG test track.

ETA; epic WIN, the Reliant Robin will make an appearance. Let's hope there is damage in the game, I can see my old favourite GT4 cock about multiplayer game of small car vs Volvo estate having a whole new dimension of amazingness.

I dont for a moment think that list is real. Why include every type of Citroen C3? One is enough.

that list isnt accurate.. it was wrote in 2007 to start with! Theres 1000 cars in the game, and they have already said that Porsche wont be in it. RUF maybe though.

I've had a PS3 since the release date and so far it has only been used as a paperweight/bluray player. All the games except Killzone 2, MGS and COD games have been a massive anticlimax, and I'm a fan of just about any genre of game. My 360 on the other hand has been used constantly for all my gaming.

I wouldn't rush out to buy a PS3 just for GT5 if I didn't have one. I think Forza 3 will be better. Going off GT Prologue there is a long way to go before GT5 is as good. All the handling dynamics were awful etc etc. Style over substance in my book.

With regards to the car list that is mental I'd love to see all of the cars make the game, I just hope Sony get it right this time otherwise it looks like Forza 3 will wipe the floor with it.

I own every GT so far but I'm 50/50 on this one becasue I thought GT5P was a bit disapointing, not so much the car handling but the online options. You only ever raced against randoms, without the option for provate races and friends races I won't be bothering.

The new one will have private lobbies.

Remember, GT5P was a glorified demo.

Can't help but feel that any car company that doesn't cooperate is missing a big marketing opportunity.

Porsche haven't signed up. The Veyron is confirmed mind, as is the Countach, Enzo etc...

So RUF will be back instead.

Shame its not an accurate list. I nearly exploded with excitement when I saw the Tyrrell P34 F1 car on there
