Steering Wheel Stand

I have to been looking at the Logitech GT5 Driving Force Wheel..

Does anyone one know a good stand that can be used with it i can't find one anywhere.

I'd get in touch and see if they are producing a fitting kit for your wheel. It's a top bit of kit. Perfect if you want to sit on the sofa and still have a stable platform for the wheel.

Thanks, the wheel stand pro seems to be a good one to go for, a tad pricey for what it is.

I don't think so. It's very well engineered and almost unique as a reliable solution to the problem. Check the reviews.

WheelStandPro gets a total thumbs up from me.

Only time it could be a problem, is if your seat is really high. Then the pole the wheel sits on, doesn't come up tall enough.

Here's my set-up.

Nice and simple and folds away easily with cables attatched with food bag ties

The wheelstandpro looks pretty good to me, I think the price is decent too. My only concern with wheelstands and the G25 is that I've found I need the G25 to be pretty well secured to get the most pleasure for it, so I'd check that the stand can be secured or is sufficiently stable.

It folds up really nicely too, which is a big advantage over a racing seat option.

How solid is the wheelstand? It could be exactly what I am looking for, but I'm not sure about the stability of it. Does it rock, or move around when you are going hard from lock to lock, or is it very well planted?

It's very well planted, with a driving force pro wheel attached it weighs 7kg. It doesn't move at all for me, even when I'm hacksawing away.

The physics just work, with your feet on the pedal assembly at the end of a long lever it's very stable. It is possible to move it around but you have to really try. There's a bunch of youtube vids of it in action, you see a tiny bit of flex in the upright in the vids but that's not noticeable in use.

I've still got to get a proper car seat, but at the moment I can't use it anyway due to my back being out of order.
