Guitar Hero Noob

Up ubtil Friday night, I never 'got' the whole Guitar Hero thing, but then had also never played it.

After a couple of hours on my mate's one, I am hooked!

So much so, won an ebay auction for Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock yesterday - guitar and game for £15 delivered - well chuffed!

Now just gotta wait until it arrives.

I take it I can now buy all the other GH releases and Rock Band and play them with the guitar?

What are the best ones to get?

P.S. Went for the Wii version over xbox 360 as the Wii is in the living room where i will play more!

yeah you can get the later releases seperate

so you'll be able to get world tour, greatest hits, metallica on the wii - the 360 also has aerosmith whihc i havent seen on the wii but i'm sure someone will prove me wrong.

this is a compatibility chart for the wii - depending on the guitar u have (i think its the les paul one)

you've got guitar hero 5 and rockband beatles coming out this christmas too

just to add

if you bought the 360 world tour guitar and/or drums then you would be able to play rockband games too on it - they're all cross compatible for the 360 and ps3 but not for the wii unfortunatly

Yep was going to say, played rock band with my world tour kit a few times, its pretty good, but I seem to remember the drums being a bit of an odd layout :S, Xbox 360 Version

yeah the rockband drums are only 4 in number - no cymbals

where as the guitar hero has three drums and 2 cymbals
