Batman Arkham Asylum
Discussion
I didnt even consider buying it tell i read a write up on it in one of the sunday papers, went out this morning and bought it and what a game it is! been playing for 8 hours straight its easily the best platform game in years, its a mix between fallout 3 and metal gear solid(not the last one).
its gonna be a great stop gap until pro evo 10 and cod 6.
Buy it you will not be disappointed.

It is brilliant, takes the best bits of splinter cell, streets of rage (old school type combat), all of Batman's cool toys. They pulled it off as well, superhero games usually stink but this is really good. I've been well impressed with it. Wish it was a bit darker like the newer movies but it still works really well. Combat is a bit easy IMO a bit like Assassin's Creed where the clever controls take away a bit of the play ability but that's the only flaw I can think of.

Maybe some of you chaps could help me here.
I downloaded and played the demo of this but wasn't sure whether or not it would get a bit repetetive. The graphics and gameplay seem really good but I did wonder whether or not there would be a good amount of variety to the game. Just hoped it wouldn't turn into a run of the mill sneak around and smack someone game.
Does it get better as you progress? And, is it a bit like the Dead Space demo, i.e. a game that is too big to be done justice in a demo?

I was playing it last night. I got to the bit in the morgue where the voice keeps saying get out, get out GET OUTTTTTTTTTT so I turned it off.
I'm a big wuss
Oh man you are about 30 seconds away from the bit that made me realise quite how good the game is going to be.I'm a big wuss
I was saying it's like Bioshock x Metal Gear Solid x Streets of Rage. But with Batman!
