Call of Duty 4

I think I'm addicted to this game. My mates and I have a regular challenge - try to get the number of a bird in the pub but you can only talk about COD4 and you have to pretend its real, eg:

Hi, my name's RoadRunner77, best kill streak of 22, how are you?

or

I'm giving real consideration to swapping the Barratt 50 Cal for the Dragunov, much less kick back....what do you reckon?

So far its resulted in general laughter, a few f**k offs and one drink over the head.

Is anyone else this obsessed?

BF1943 (the downloadable one on XBox Live) is much much better than any of the COD franchise. It'll be even better once they've got a few more maps for it!

I'm addicted to it - my o/h told me that she 'hates the continual war siren noise' it makes - as I've got it hooked up in the lounge on my PS3 with 5.1 and a nice big sub....

I love FPS's but try as I might I just can't get into COD4 - Rainbow Six Las Vegas 1 & 2 on the other hand are fantastic, GTA4 is highly addictive also.

I do like BF 1943, but CoD4 is the better all around game for me.

It's great. I'm only medicocre at it and I have something of a love hate relationship with it, especially when you encounter a clan who just ruin the fun, or there's one player who totally dominates.

Still, I keep coming back for more so it must be good!

My best kill streak is about 19 and my best KD ratio on a single game was about 45 kills to 4 deaths.
I only play overgrown because I just love the level so much.

Primary weapon = Silenced G4 with iron sight.
Secondary = deagle.

Perk1 Claymore
Perk 2 UAV jammer
Perk 3 deep impact.

Pretty much half my kills are thanks to deep impact. It's the best perk in the game. I just wish I could do UAV jammer Stopping power and deep impact.

Xbox360 for me..

I haven't taken it out of the disc tray for years, only online play too!

G36c R/DSight, Stuns, Claymores, UAV Jammer, Steady Aim

My best is around 34/3 on Downpour.. I only play H/C TDM though!
