Just downloaded it and installed. Started it up and it says you need an update! Only have to download another 500MB. Why not just post up the updated version in the PSN store s.

It's a sim racer but I found the cars were either very sensitive or lacked feel using a controller, with a G25 it was better but no brake feel.

It's not a bad game, limited players make getting a good race hard and many players are arses ramming or bumping going the wrong way or quiting when the lose and stopping the game if they are hosting - so, usual stuff for racing games.

It does have a penalty system to stop this and it works okish but once you've been bumped off the other guy is so far ahead you can't catch them.

Woah, we got more of these? I ended up getting the full game, and i'm inside the top 10 times on most tracks, except the Nurburgring and Spa. I'm top on one though.

The AI is dreadful.

I don't think I've seen an AI controlled car be able to find its way around the first corner on Monza yet.

They just pile in about 50mph too fast and straight line it, any cars behind you just pile into the back of you and push you onto the grass. You then get a penalty but all the AI cars just rejoin the track and drive off at full speed.

The AI doesn't 'see' you, so if you run wide at a corner you rejoin with a penalty which cuts your engine for a few seconds, but you HAVE to get off the racing line as quick as you can else the AI will just drive up and ram into the back of you. It's not so much racing, more like an interactive action replay where you have to just treat the AI cars as a rolling corner to drive around.

How do you destroy the car ?

The game says it has realistic visible car damage and there is a trophy for destroying your car which I am trying to get, so far 8x 120-140mph head on crashes and bar a few panels falling off the car is still going...

Back to GT5P for me, the handling of the cars is terrible.

I don't think it's any worse than GT5P. They are both definitely arcade drivers though, regardless of what they say.
