Hi Guys
Just bought a 360 and a new 32inch Hd tv! what games should i get for the xbox? I like games like call of duty 4 (modern warfare,) but not so much the ones set in the past / future! I've played rainbow 6 3 in the past too.
What are the 'best' games out there?
Also i want to star playing online, but i have no ethernet cable in my room, but we're on skyand have a wireless router. Bad point is my laptop (on the desk next to xbox) keeps losing signal every now and then and the internet is slow enough as it is! Will playing say COD 4 online make it massively slow for everyone else?

Well you'll be happy to know the new Call of Duty 4 is out in the next couple of months, Until then Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Gears of War 2 should tide you over ;-)
As for the Internet you can get a plug in wireless adaptor for the 360 im also on Sky but have a strong connection. Possibly check the router to see if you can clear some stuff from around it to stop the signal getting blocked? The less walls it has to go through the better.

Wait just over a month and the sequel to COD4 will be out.
As for connecting to the internet, either run a cable up to the XBox room for the best possible speed, or you'll need to find a wireless adaptor for it, which you'll need to pay extra for.
You will also need XBox Live Gold membership to play online, you should get a month free when you first create your account, but after this you're best off seeking out an ebay seller as you can get the package a lot cheaper than Microsoft will charge you (£40 from MS, around £28 elsewhere).

CoD4 is a great game, but easily complete in 'story mode', it really comes into its own with online play. There is a large community on here and they will always welcome you to join in (translate to...be an easy target for them!).
Also if you have never tried online racing games then Forza 3 will be the way to go next month, again huge PH following and lots happening, just check out some of the other topics on these forums.

+1just don't forget to plug them straight into the wall as they don't like extension leads.

Any websites do the games cheap? Cheapest i've found is argos at 29.95 for cod 4 or 2 games for 45£. (fifa 09, pro evo 09, tiger woods, skate 2, wwe, wwe, need for speed pro street, nfs undercover, xmen, 007 quantom of solace, cod 4 modern warefare, fallout 3, lotrr, star ocean last hope, street fighter 4, 50cent, fear 2, godfather 2, gta 4)

will it definately work with my house? i don't know how these things work! and with amazon is it easy to return them if they don't work?
