You can currently buy a Xbox Elite with two top games for £190.00

Is it worth it bearing in mind I could sell....

Both games for £25.00 each
My old 20gb HD for £25.00
The old spare controller £20.00
And my current XBOX for £95.00.

So, that would make the Elite free then wouldn't it?

Go for it Carl, be one of us cool kids with a black Xbox.

I think I knew the answer, just needed to justify it to myself wink

Besides with the news Forza 3 is going to be on two discs then I can put the lot on it smile

Is that the trade in prices or is that just a guess at what you can sell those bits for?

I may do the same!

Currently humming and hahing about the MW2 special edition with a nice fat 250Gb HDD, and throwing the slightly foxed launch day 360 upstairs to be a media extender. Hmm scratchchin

If are confident of getting those prices, then its kind of a no brainer.

I Liked my 360 elite so much I bought it twice biggrin

A bit of ebay searching for completed sales, rough average, ok will lose fees but even with those out still should only cost me about £10 for a Elite wink

Honestly I will pay you £25 for a HDD, if you want to avoid ebay fees and such.

Is the Elite the only xbox with HDMI socket? Used to have a first gen Xbox but only had VGA and composit (and my TV dosnt support that)

Well it should be here by the weekend. Looking at the state of my Forza2 disc probably not a minute too soon! Spend saturday figuring out how to transfer the data from the 20gb to the big hard drive, then start selling the other stuff.

May have to invest myself when I get back. The only reason I'd get one would be for the extra HDD space.

You need a MS transfer kit. The aftermarket ones are crap.

You need to fillout a form and you'll get one in 2-3 weeks.

Or i'll post mine out on Monday.

PM me if you want smile
