I've resisted so long, the urge of Forza 3 is too much

Tommorow is the day, I'm taking the plunge and buying a 360. The deal is Xbox 360 Elite, 1 wireless pad, FIFA 10 and NFS: Shift. I'm also going to buy CoD4 and 12 months live. So i'll see some of you on Shift soon!!!! And of course Forza 3

For those who play with me on PS3, I'm keeping that too, don't worry.

If anyone can think of a Gamertag for me, it would be mucho appreaciated.

Got the same Elite package last week from Amazon, seems they have now put it up £10 to the same price as Game, glad I grabbed it when I did.

The premium 360 has the HDMI socket too, didn't come with a cable which is a bugger but not expenciv anyway.

New premiums also come with a 60GB HDD

Best deal out there at the moment would seem to be the Forza Limited Edition Elite with 250gb HD (same as COD:MW2 pack, but with a plain black Xbox), a copy of Forza 2 and an extra wireless pad for £249.99, IMO

Your never going to use the 250hd unless you intend to record off of sky when it starts, and with Forza LCE available for £39.99 think you might be best to stick with what you were going for. You could flog both those games anyway, thats what I did, listed them yesterday, one sold within the hour, second sold today.

cool may have a hunt on ebay for one. I have a PS3 and PC so will just be for those odd games that dont hit either platform (like the crackdown games, forza etc)

just the arcade and elite as said above... the only new 60gb's you'll get is one a store has from a few months back.

the 250 gb isnt worth it in my opinion unless its the mw2 pack. there's no decor about it whatsoever.

Apart from the fact you get 2 wireless controllers (£30 new for the second one) and a game worth £40-£45 and double the HDD space? Decor? I don't want it to look nice! Remeber the Halo3 special edition that they couldn't sell? If you care, buy a snazzy faceplate.
You can never have too big a HDD, especially on xbox where upgrading is an expensive pain in the ass.

Its the Pro with the HDMI not the premium (I think), and although they have stopped making them quite a few places are still selling their existing stock.

For example the morrisons near where I work has them in stock still at £140.
Picked one up for my friend a couple of weeks ago.

100% agree, since Live have started to put full Xbox and 360 games online to buy and download I seem to have amassed 70GB of data on my 120gb drive. No music or video, purely game files, saved games and game add-on's.

All Xboxes are now HDMI enabled, they all have the HDMI socket onthe back but none ship with an HDMI cable. Even the Arcades are HDMI.
The only exception to this is really ancient stock, which is probably best avoided anyway.
