You do know that Game and gamestation are actually the same company? So don't be surprised if they both publish the same release datesI remember my pre-order with GT4 was with Amazon and it over-ran the delivery date by about a year
I expect it will be next year now, unfortunately. I'm still waiting on it coming out before I buy a PS3... but I'm almost tempted to just sack of the GT games now and go for Xbox360 and Forza etc... GT had the driving sim thing wrapped up but since the 360 came out they have just lagged behind massively.
I fear GT5 just won't feel special by the time it finally arrives. Two years ago when it was Prologue, yes, but now!?

Last I heard was its been put back to March/April in Japan.
FFS it's wasn't 'put back', it has never been 'put back', the only f
king date Sony/ PD have ever given for GT5 is March 2010 (which is for Japan AFAIK)...and relax

I don't think you can blame people for being slighly miffed.

Fine but what about Kazunori Yamauchi laughing off a 2010 release date, him stating that GT5 would be out 'soon' after GTPSP, saying that they can release GT5 "Whenever we want" at E3 in June
He must be either lying, or retarded then. Why would you finish a game then sit on it? It's not like you tactically launch a GT game. Whenever it's released it'll sell in bucket loads anyway.
And as every month goes by, the game gets 'older'...
In a way it's already an old game, since Prologue showed us what the PS3 could do.
So I doubt it was ready, he is just saying it to keep people eager.
I expect it, like all other GT games, to look stunning, but still have crap AI, crap sounds, and start to feel a bit too clinical after not too long, with questionable physics issues rearing their heads with more and more play...
Too many Skyline variants, and not enough BMW's or US cars, and not many Euro exotics... tuning options that miss out on reality except for Skylines, where they are beyond reality
