PS3 owners!

I have a peep in the Computer Games forum and there are 9 threads on the first page about an Xbox exclusive game. To stop me becoming clinically depressed, lets have some conversation about what games we are playing, what releases we are looking forward to, and anything else Playstation-related you may want to share.

I'm still hacking about on COD4 in excited anticipation of MW2, hopefully IW will have been able to improve the online so its a better experience for us. I'm also interested in seeing how MW2 will compare to MAG, as they are generally similar, and have heard good things about MAG so far.

I'm also looking back to the good old days of the PS2, and am playing some classic games like the old Tony Hawk Pro Skaters and TDU - i'm still hoping there will be a new TDU at some point with better handling and online.

I too am waiting for GT5, man it'd better be good!!! Very tempted by an xbox atm

I've had to resort back to Burnout Paradise, I got as far as i could on LBP, and got narked off with it, and nobody 'normal' seems to be playing Everybody's Golf WT anymore, they're all too good to be fun.....

My PS3 desperately wants to digest my copy of Uncharted 2 and feast on its loveliness, but it's on a strict diet until Christmas Eve.

There will be no falling off the wagon unless I buckle under the immense pressure and sneak in a quick midnight snack.

I installed that when it first appeared, it's ok for a while, then the ads get annoying, (same one all the time!) and realised it's probably not the most economical way of listening to music, (with the ps3, amp and tv all going at the same time, ).

It's good for listening to stuff you don't own though, and there are thousands of songs on there (I have one playlist with nearly 500 songs in it).

I downloaded the F1 2006 demo earlier, it's not too bad once you turn all the aids off.
If you play it out of the box the quickest way round the track is to keep the accelerator on and it does everything except steer!

Also now the farm work is nearly done my ps3 will be getting a lot of abuse over the coming months.

All I've really played recently is Fallout 3, it's fantastic, with a little bit of Pro Evo now and then. And maybe Buzz if people are round. I think I'll get hold of the first Drakes whatsit game before getting the new one.

Uncharted 2 is the most amazing game I have ever played. You have to get it to see what I mean. The single player is epic and the multiplayer is actually keeping me off COD4 which is unheard of...

It's awful, takes an age to load up and update itself before you can do anything, by the time it does you've lost interest.

Currently playing Wolfenstein and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on mine (although it's mainly used as a media box).

I liked vidzone when it first appeared but it annoys me now. It's slow to load and the search system is hideous, but good for catching videos since youtube started blocking stuff for uk users.

I'm playing Chronicals of Riddick at the moment and it's great. A nice mix of stealth discovery and shooting. I have MGS, Stranglehold and assasins creed if I can be bothered to play them.

Want Drake2, very much enjoyed the 1st one. And GT5 is a given. Most fun for a quick blast is Outrun, oldskool! and a bit of multi player gauntlet if my mates are round.

I looked at Forza though and thought, mmmm maybe a 360 for Christmas.

Switching between GT5p and NFSS at the mo. GT5p when I'm alone and chasing laptimes. Shift when my mates come round.

BTW am I right in thinking NFSS is currently the only way you can race the ring online on the PS3?

Seriously you have to get it. In my opinion it is a defining game for the PS3. It is the kind of game that you invite 360 owners over to watch them get sad that they don't have a PS3
