Wii on a new TV
Discussion
Just transferred my Wii to a new TV and can only get B&W picture! Have tried using a scart adaptor, and been on Nintendo site but nothing doing.
It seems to be OK when it's first switched on, then reverts back to B&W within a couple of minutes. I know there are other cables available, but they appear to be quite expensive and I don't want to purchase unnecessarily.
Any ideas/suggestions gratefully received.
A frustrated Dico!

I had a weird fault with my old telly, I don't think it's the same fault, as yours works initially.
When I scrolled through the list of AV inputs, I used to get a B&W picture of the Wii first and then when I scrolled to the next input, the proper colour Wii picture appeared. Apparently, there was cross talk inside the telly between the inputs.
Have you tried another AV input?

Just to second this, my old tv had AV2/AV2S and it would be in B+W if the wrong one. When I scrolled through the list of AV inputs, I used to get a B&W picture of the Wii first and then when I scrolled to the next input, the proper colour Wii picture appeared.
