Fujimi Postal Wars - FM3

Ok, so following a frankly brilliant creation from S3_Graham this morning, it looks as though the Fujimi Postal Wars may be going ahead soon!

Basic principle is to create a design based on a courier or postal company and apply it to a stock Pickup or SUV. Not sure if this has been decided yet, but considering the Dodge Ram and Saleen trucks have quite a large surface area and are pretty tail happy, these would probably be the ideal vehicles.

For whoever is interested, please state your name, GT and proposed mail company, and get designing! Depending on people interested, we will look at possibly turning into a tournament (although i'm not sure how many courier companies there are off the top of my head!).

Not sure on which vehicle suits it best really?? what has the highest rating?? the cayenne i would imagine. shall we just say, any 4x4 pickup upto that rating??

Have updated the list. As Graham has quoted, there are some more to use and probably a few that I can't think of. Rams or Saleens are probably best to use. However, Cayenne has a slight advantage over the others, which would be fine for Tag matches, but I think you're right Graham. Probably best just to allow all upto the Caynenne's PI.

im at work, very nearly did a search for mail companies.. then thought.. hmm work safe results?? might get too many 'male' companies!!

Haha, yeah, good thought. The ML63 is a good idea. It's a shame you can't add vinyl to the back windows and make it van-esque. I'm considering using the Touareg. I'm gonna spend some time making this design tonight. For anyone looking at doing CityLink, it appears someone has already done a design for that in the paint post. It's currently on a Porsche, but you may be able to get some inspiration from it

I don't think it's going to be immediate. It's only fair that everyone has some time to make their designs. I'd say by the weekend should be enough time to pull a reasonable design together.

Tell you what. Once people have finished their designs, lets get photos posted up in here so we know who has completed. Then when everyone is done, we can get a race together. Feel free to quote the list and add yourselves to it. Any issues, use the formatting help tab.

i rekon that wouldnt be too bad, if you can get the semi circle, skew it a bit and then make it thin. meh ill have a crack, if its any good ill gift it over!

The UPS design is going to be a) Really easy to do b) Incredibly mennacing.
